Gary Bynon

Gary Bynon has been the Head Girls Volleyball Coach and a Physical Education teacher at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School near Saratoga New York for 31 years. Coach Bynon also runs the Lakeside Volleyball Club and Spike Mountain Volleyball Camp, one of the top summer camps in the Northeast.
He owns a BS and MS in Physical Education from the State University of New York at Cortland. Coach Bynon reached the 700 wins plateau this fall. His teams have been in 16 straight New York final fours participating in 12 state finals and winning 6 of them since 1999. The Spartans have also captured a Section 2 record 17 straight and 24 overall titles. The Spartans just won their 31 consecutive Suburban Council Divisional Championship. His teams also own a 390 straight league wins streak from October 1990-October 2015.
Coach Bynon is the President of the New York State Volleyball Coaches Association and was recently named the recipient of the National Federation of High Schools Sectional Coach of the Year which covers 8 Northeastern States. Awards also include –
Section 2 Coach of the year 2 times
Saratoga County Coach of the year -3 times
Female Sports Coach of the Year 2012
NYSAHPERD – Amazing People Coaches Award
He has also coached Boys Basketball at BHBL with his 1991 team winning the school’s first ever sectional championship.

Arnie Rosenbaum

MAAC Collegiate Coach of the Year 1990

Has won 609 matches
13 Division Championships
5 PSAL City Championships, 9-time City Finalist
2003 Metro Bowl Championship (only PSAL team to win this title)
3 consecutive undefeated PSAL Season 2007-2009 (64 matches)
Conducted Clinics for NYC coaches and teachers
Sat on the PSAL playoff selection and advisory committee
Runs Tournaments to expose PSAL teams to outside competition

Peggy Seese

Peggy has been an elementary teacher for 28 years at Argyle 32 years total.
She has been a Teacher leader for the past 5 years as part of the CASDA program.
At Argyle Peggy coached softball for 11 years, with 3 trips to the state tournament.
This is the 28 season at Argyle for volleyball. In volleyball they have been in sectionals every year since she has coached. The Previous time the team made sectionals before her arrival was 1979.
During this time Argyle has won 10 sectional championships, 8 trips to the State tournament 1 title. She has also amassed over 500 wins at Argyle.
Peggy has been Section 2 coordinator and Assistant state coordinator for past 16 years.
She took over as tournament director when Sections no longer rotated the state tournament in 2002.
10 years ago, along with Doug Kenyon ( section 2 executive director) Peggy spearheaded a drive to get the tournament at the Glens Falls CC,( Cool Insuring Arena) a large arena that can sit 4000 people and showcase the sport of volleyball – instead of having the games play in high schools and colleges as they were in the past. She has worked hard to keep the tournament in Glens Falls through 2020.
Other accomplishments:
Assistant director and mentor coach for Spike Mountain Volleyball Camp.
